This year, in lieu of our annual gala, we are asking you to join us for the Borrowers (un)Ball, an evening celebrating literacy and the vital role the Free Library of Philadelphia plays in our community. On November 7, the Borrowers (un)Ball invites you to skip the tux and ball gown, and instead put on your pajamas, cozy up in your favorite chair, and delve into a great book. Then, consider donating to the Free Library the funds you would have spent had you gone out to dinner, the movies, or a concert. Your generous gift will directly benefit creative programming for children, and your support enables us to be the Free Library of Community, the Free Library of Big Ideas, and the Free Library of Possibility.
So give our dancing shoes the night off, and celebrate the first–ever Borrowers (un)Ball!
